The Vice Chancellor, Faisalabad Medical University Faisalabad invites applications from suitable candidates for the statutory posts given below as per qualification and experience indicated:

1. Registrar

(On contract basis for a period of three years – not extendable)

• No. of Posts: 1
• BPS: 20
• Age Limit: 30–50 years

Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Ph.D. or FCPS or MS or MDS or MD in any discipline after MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by HEC, and
(ii) Ten years’ relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or an institute/university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) M.Phil. or MPH or MBA after MBBS or BDS from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Twelve years’ relevant experience in a medical college/teaching hospital/institute/university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) MBBS or BDS from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Fifteen years’ relevant experience in a medical college/teaching hospital/institute/university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) Ph.D. or M.Phil. after MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Ten years’ experience as Registrar (BPS-20) or Additional Registrar (BPS-19) in any public or private sector university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) Eighteen years education (2nd division) from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Eighteen years’ post-qualification experience in administration/management in a university or Government Department/Autonomous Body in BPS-17 & above.

2. Additional Controller of Examination

(On contract basis for a period of one year – extendable)

• No. of Posts: 1
• BPS: 19
• Age Limit: 30–45 years

Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Ph.D. or FCPS or MD or MS or MDS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Seven years’ teaching/administrative/examination branch experience in an institute/Board/university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) M.Phil. or MPH or MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Nine years’ relevant experience in a college/teaching hospital/institute/university recognized by HEC.

OR

(i) MA or MSc or MBA or MCS (2nd division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university, and
(ii) Twelve years’ experience in BPS-17 & above in examination branch of an institute/university/Board recognized by HEC.

Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment will be made according to FMU Act/rules.
2. Age relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt. of Punjab notification.
3. Final appointment subject to verification of educational degrees and experience certificates (verification cost to be borne by candidate).
4. Applications must be submitted on prescribed proforma (available at http://www.pmc.edu.pk) with attested copies of documents, CNIC, domicile, degree, certificates, and two fresh passport-size photographs.
5. Application proforma should be submitted in University office with a bank draft/pay order of Rs. 3000/- in favor of Vice Chancellor FMU Faisalabad.
6. Foreign degree holders must attach HEC equivalence certificate.
7. MBBS/BDS degrees must be registered with PM&DC (if applicable).
8. Government servants must apply through proper channel.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
10. Authority reserves right to cancel/increase/decrease posts without assigning any reason.
11. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
12. No TA/DA will be admissible.
13. Last date of submission: 04.10.2025
14. Applications received after due date will not be entertained.
